Hello! I'm Laney and am thrilled to bring my passion and experience with children and early childhood development to our Niwot community!
With my Early Childhood License and four wonderful years teaching preschool within the Boulder Valley and Mapleton Public School districts, I am excited to transition into a more intimate, in-home setting as my wife and I have welcomed our daughter in January 2026.
My mission is to foster children’s natural curiosity through hands-on exploration, purposeful play, and a village atmosphere where every child feels truly seen and heard while valuing YOUR input in their development as their parent/guardian.
My approach to childcare is rooted in a unique blend of emotional support, deep love for learning, outdoor play, and having fun! With a Bachelor’s in Counseling, I weave empathy and social-emotional regulation into our daily rhythm, helping children navigate their big feelings with confidence. My Master’s in Library and Information Science and time working in libraries means our home is filled with curated literature and stories, fostering a lifelong love of books from the very start.
