Hours of Operation and Attendance

Hours: Care is provided Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Late Pick-Up Fee: Reliability is essential to our daily rhythm. A late fee of $1.00 per minute will be charged for any pick-up after 4:30 PM. If continually arriving late to pick-up after several warnings, termination of care could be considered.

Payment

Hours of Operation and Attendance

Monthly Payment: Tuition is due in full once per month at the beginning of each month for the upcoming month of care. A $25/day late fee will be applied and care discontinued if 2 weeks late on payment.

Consistency Policy: To maintain your child’s dedicated spot and our low 4:1 ratio, tuition remains the same regardless of a child’s absence due to illness, family vacation, or personal days.

Provider Illness: If I (the provider) or my own child is ill and I must close the daycare, you will not be charged for those days. I will notify you as promptly as possible, and a credit for the missed day(s) will be applied to your next month’s tuition. However, I will do my best to provide a qualified substitute who will be able to stand in for me on these days so that you have reliable care and you will be notified beforehand.

Vaccination Requirement: For the safety of all children and our community, all enrolled children must be up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations as recommended by the AAP and Colorado health department. Proof of immunization is required before the first day of care.

The Two-Week Trial: Every new enrollment begins with a 14-day trial period. During these two weeks, either the family or the provider may terminate the agreement if it is determined that the placement is not the best fit.

Withdrawal Notice: Following the trial period, a 30-day written notice is required for withdrawal from the program. Tuition is due for the duration of the 30-day notice period.

Health & Sick Policy

Health & Sick Policy

Enrollment, Trial Period, & Withdrawal

To maintain a healthy environment for our small group, children must be kept home if they exhibit:

  • Fever of 100.4°F or higher (you may not give child fever reducer and send them to daycare)
  • Vomiting or diarrhea within the last 24 hours.
  • Unexplained rashes or contagious conditions (e.g., Pink Eye, Strep Throat).

The 24-Hour Rule: Children must be symptom-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication before returning to daycare.

Scheduled Closures

Health & Sick Policy

Scheduled Closures

The daycare will be closed for three weeks per year for provider leave and professional development.

A calendar of these dates will be provided at the beginning of each year (or upon enrollment) so families can arrange for alternative care well in advance.

I believe in "Presence-Based Care." To ensure a high-quality, attentive environment for our small group of four, I do not provide real-time digital updates or use tracking apps. I keep a daily record of your child's care and love sharing stories and highlights with you in person during our afternoon pick-up transition.

You may receive occasional photo "surprises" via text, but my focus remains on your child’s play and safety.
